Take a look at all of this doom and gloom from a CNN Money article dated august 26, 2008. “National” prices are down a record 15.4%. Prices are falling, plummeting, dropping, dipping, slipping, sliding, plunging, collapsing, sinking, and even tumbling. Isn’t it terrible? Well, yes it is except this has nothing to do with Hawaii.
Why? Because the S&P/Case-Shiller national home price index does not include any Hawaii information. So all of this doom and gloom has nothing to do with Hawaii. Watch out for this-it comes up a lot!
